Over one month has passed since the northern region of Japan was devastated by an earthquake and tsunami of historic proportions. While the world focuses on the nuclear crisis, over 140,000 people continue to live in shelters and temporary housing, including children who have lost their parents.
Pampas restaurant in Palo Alto is hosting an evening of friendship and fundraising on Tuesday, May 3. We invite you to open your hearts and your wallets to help the children of the Tohoku region, as they bravely face life without their parents and life as they knew it.
Proceeds from ticket sales and donations received will be disbursed to Ashinaga (www.ashinaga.org) a Japanese non-proÿt assisting orphans, through the Silicon Valley-based Keizai Society (www.keizai.org) and its 501(c)(3) partner, Give2Asia (www.give2asia.org) . All donations will be fully tax deductible.
